Division 01

Geospatial Engineering & Land Technologies.

Our long-term specialisation. We build the software, maps and data systems that modernise how land is measured, recorded, valued and managed — from a single parcel to an entire county. The disciplines below explain exactly what each service is, what we deliver, and why it matters.

Cluster 01

Land & Valuation

Digital backbone for how land is recorded, valued, transacted and taxed. These are the systems that turn paper files into searchable, defensible records.

Land Information Systems (LIS)

What it is
A central database and portal that stores every parcel — its boundaries, owner, tenure, encumbrances, use restrictions and transaction history — and makes that record searchable on a map.
What we deliver
Web-based LIS with parcel search, ownership history, secure document upload, workflow for transfers and consents, role-based access for registrars, surveyors and the public, and audit trails for every change.
Why it matters
Replaces slow, paper-based registries that lose records and enable fraud. Land offices process transactions faster, disputes drop because every change is timestamped and traceable, and citizens can verify ownership before they buy.

Property Valuation Software

What it is
Tools that estimate the market value of land or buildings using comparable sales, location, size, land use, infrastructure and market trends — instead of relying only on a single valuer's judgment.
What we deliver
Rule-based and AI-assisted valuation engines, comparable-sale databases, automated valuation reports, confidence scoring, and integration with GIS so location factors are calculated automatically.
Why it matters
Banks lend faster and with less risk, counties collect fairer property rates, investors screen deals in minutes instead of weeks, and buyers avoid overpaying. Valuation stops being a bottleneck.

Parcel Management Systems

What it is
The operational layer that manages parcels day-to-day — subdivisions, consolidations, rating, billing, leases, licenses and change-of-use applications.
What we deliver
Workflow-driven parcel modules, subdivision and amalgamation tools, rates and ground-rent billing, lease and license registers, and automatic map updates when a parcel changes.
Why it matters
County land departments and private estates keep their register clean, bill correctly, and avoid the double-allocations and orphaned parcels that come with spreadsheet-based tracking.

Asset Mapping

What it is
Locating and cataloguing an organisation's physical assets — buildings, poles, meters, pipes, plots, machinery — on a map with condition, ownership and maintenance data attached.
What we deliver
Field data collection apps, geo-tagged asset registers, condition and maintenance dashboards, and integration with finance and maintenance systems.
Why it matters
Utilities, counties and large estates finally know what they own, where it is, and what condition it's in — reducing losses, improving planning, and unlocking asset-backed financing.

Cluster 02

Mapping & Sensing

How we actually capture the world — from satellite scenes and drone flights down to centimetre-accurate ground survey — and turn it into maps organisations can act on.

GIS Development

What it is
Custom Geographic Information Systems — software that stores, analyses and visualises data by location. Everything that has a 'where' becomes a layer on a map.
What we deliver
Web GIS portals, custom map viewers, spatial dashboards, thematic mapping, layer management, and integrations with existing ERPs, CRMs and databases.
Why it matters
Decisions made on maps are better decisions. Route planning, site selection, service delivery, risk zoning and resource allocation all improve when leadership can see the pattern instead of reading rows in a spreadsheet.

Survey Data Processing

What it is
Turning raw field measurements from GPS, total stations and RTK receivers into clean, coordinated survey plans, boundary files and CAD/GIS-ready datasets.
What we deliver
Coordinate transformations, adjustment computations, deed-plan preparation, boundary reconstruction, and delivery in formats accepted by the Survey of Kenya and county planning departments.
Why it matters
Faster turnaround from fieldwork to submission, fewer rejections at the survey office, and cleaner records that hold up in court.

Drone Mapping

What it is
Using unmanned aerial vehicles fitted with high-resolution cameras or LiDAR to survey sites from the air — capturing in one hour what a ground crew would take days to measure.
What we deliver
Aerial imagery, orthomosaics, digital elevation models, contour maps, volumetric measurements (for stockpiles and quarries), and 3D site models — all georeferenced.
Why it matters
Developers, quarries, farms and construction sites get cheaper, safer, more frequent surveys. Progress is monitored weekly instead of monthly, and disputes over volumes or boundaries are settled with visual evidence.

Photogrammetry

What it is
The science of extracting accurate measurements and 3D models from overlapping photographs — the technique that turns drone photos into maps you can measure on.
What we deliver
3D reconstructions of sites and buildings, high-resolution orthophotos, terrain models, and heritage or as-built documentation of existing structures.
Why it matters
Engineers, architects and planners get measurable, dimensionally-accurate reality models — cheaper than laser scanning and richer than a flat map.

Remote Sensing

What it is
Analysing satellite and aerial imagery to detect what is happening on the ground — crop health, land-cover change, deforestation, urban expansion, water bodies, flooding.
What we deliver
Change-detection studies, land-cover classification, vegetation and moisture indices, encroachment monitoring and periodic reports over any area of interest.
Why it matters
Government, agribusiness and conservation groups monitor huge areas without sending teams there. Illegal activity is spotted early, and interventions are targeted where they'll matter.

Digital Mapping

What it is
Producing modern, layered digital maps — from base maps of a county to thematic maps of schools, health facilities or infrastructure — designed for both screens and print.
What we deliver
Cartographic design, interactive web maps, atlas products, printable map series and embed-ready map components for websites and reports.
Why it matters
Communication improves. A well-designed map explains a problem or opportunity faster than any report — and gets funders, boards and communities aligned.

Cluster 03

Data & Analytics

Once the data exists, this is how we make it useful — clean it, store it properly, analyse it and turn it into the answers your organisation is actually asking.

Spatial Analysis

What it is
Running location-aware calculations — proximity, density, overlay, suitability, network and hotspot analysis — to answer questions like 'where is the best site?' or 'which areas are underserved?'
What we deliver
Site-suitability studies, catchment and service-area analysis, risk and hazard mapping, market and demographic analysis, and repeatable analytical workflows.
Why it matters
Organisations stop making location decisions on gut feel. Retailers pick better sites, NGOs allocate resources where impact is highest, and planners see the trade-offs before they commit.

Geospatial Databases

What it is
Purpose-built databases (PostGIS and equivalents) that store spatial data efficiently — so millions of parcels, roads or points can be queried, edited and served on a map at speed.
What we deliver
Database design and setup, data migration from CAD/Excel/paper, spatial indexing, tiling servers, backup strategy, and APIs that other systems can consume.
Why it matters
Spatial data stops living in scattered shapefiles on individual laptops. It becomes an organisational asset that every system, dashboard and report can pull from — consistently.

Smart City Solutions

What it is
Integrated platforms that combine GIS, IoT sensors, service data and citizen apps to help cities plan, operate and communicate better — traffic, waste, water, utilities, safety.
What we deliver
City data platforms, operations dashboards, citizen reporting apps, sensor integration, and situational awareness views for control rooms.
Why it matters
Counties and municipalities respond faster to incidents, plan infrastructure with evidence, and give residents visibility into the services they pay for.
